**Advanced Practice Provider: I- Neonatal (Neonatal Resuscitation Program): $10,000 Sign-On Bonus**
Primary Purpose
Responsible for providing health care for patients in designated primary or specialty areas, including patient diagnoses, treatment, education, and referrals. Serves as a resource and role model for clinical practice, training, evaluation, and direct management of practitioners and students in all areas encompassed by the service line to ensure optimal patient care quality. Assist leadership in assessing, planning, organizing, and implementing designated advanced practice provider activities.
Minimum Specifications
Education
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN): Master's Degree in Nursing accredited through the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the Accreditation Commission for
- Physician Assistant:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and successful completion of an accredited Physician Assistant Program recognized by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) or its predecessors.

- Current employees hired at Parkland before 3/1/2014 may have equivalent education and experience.
Certification/Registration/Licensure

Must have active certification as a Nurse Practitioner by one of the following:
- Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Primary Care (PNP-PC or PPCNP) by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB) or ANCC
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Acute Care (PNP-AC) by PNCB
- Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) by NCC OR Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHCNP) by National Certification Corporation.
- Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (Nurse Midwife): Current RN licensure from the Texas Board of Nursing; or valid Compact RN license Current licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with authorization to practice as a Nurse Midwife by the Texas Board of Nursing. Responsibilities:
1. Performs clinical practitioner duties in designated specialty areas. Obtains histories perform physical exams, makes assessments, and orders tests to adequately assess and determine diagnoses and plan of care.
2. Records health history, findings, treatment, and recommendations accurately, clearly, and concisely. Manages time effectively to ensure optimal use of patient and provider resources. Consult appropriately with supervising physicians and refer patients as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
3. Includes patients and/or families in determining the plan of care, when appropriate. Educates patients and families to ensure self-management, follow-up, and compliance with established treatment.
4. Supports interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure continuous quality care and promote positive health outcomes, focusing on good customer service and patient satisfaction.
5. Stay abreast of the latest developments, advancements, and trends in the practice field by attending seminars/workshops, reading professional journals, and actively participating in professional organizations. Participates in PHHS education activities. 6. Maintains and implements knowledge of all applicable rules, regulations, policies, laws, and guidelines that impact the respective APP fields. Develops effective internal controls that promote adherence to applicable state/federal laws, and the program requirements of accreditation agencies and federal, state, and private health plans. Maintains current professional certifications and licensure as the organization and the APP governing body require. Seeks advice and guidance as necessary to ensure proper understanding-timely completion of all assigned modules and yearly PHHS obligations as defined by the corporate compliance department.
7. Identifies work processes and flows for the assigned department. Suggests appropriate changes to improve work effectiveness, productivity, and efficiency that support the overall goals of PHHS or the area. Consistently provides quality customer service to internal and external PHHS customers.
8. Assists in developing, implementing, and monitoring annual goals and objectives for the department that support the mission and objectives of PHHS and the department. Attends regular staff meetings.

A Day in the Life of a Cat Sitter
Cat Sitters visit cats in client's homes for drop in visits (30, 45, or 60 minutes) once or twice daily or for 10 hour overnight stays. Before your first sitting visit, you'll meet each client and their cat in person for a meet and greet in their home, winning them over with your warm smile, demeanor and professional approach. You'll go over the whole care routine, finding out where things are in the home, and discuss contingency plans for emergencies. At the sittings, you'll precisely follow the directions the client has given for the cat and home care, socialize with the cat, leave the home spotless, and delight the client by sending a daily visit update to them through our pet sitting phone app.

Meet & Greet: Meet your feline clients (and their humans) at home to learn about their needs and routines.
Cat Care Done Right: Follow detailed instructions to a tee - feeding, refreshing water, cleaning bowls, scooping litter, and administering medications if needed.
Happy Hours: Spend quality time with each cat, offering love, cuddles, or playtime based on their unique personality.
Light Housekeeping: Complete small tasks like watering plants, collecting mail, and taking out trash.
Daily Updates: Keep owners in the loop with charming updates and photos that showcase their furry friend's antics. We have a market-leading app to help you stay connected.
What We're Looking For
🐾 Essential Traits:
At least 18 years old
Experience caring for cats (professional experience is a plus but NOT required)
A smartphone with internet access, texting, and camera capabilities
Ability to pass a criminal background check and provide references
🐾 Desirable Extras:
Certification in pet first aid/CPR or experience administering oral meds, injections or fluids
Calm, reliable, and organized personality (cats love consistency, and so do we!)
Availability during peak times, especially winter holidays
