Responsibilities:
Assist with gathering and compiling support documents for filings
Assist attorneys with preparing and filing pleadings and other court documents in various jurisdictions across state and federal courts, including in Delaware Court of Chancery
Assist with court filings, (CM/ECF) process, including File & ServeXpress
Assist with Bluebook and Delaware Uniform Citation formatting, cite-checking, and shepardizing case law
Familiarity with civil procedures and local, state and federal court rules
Ability to perform legal research in Lexis, Westlaw, SEC, PACER, and other legal resources
Assist with the collection, review, production, and organization of discovery materials
Proficiency with eDiscovery review platforms, and ability supervise vendor work
Manage discovery responses, subpoenas, and deposition preparation
Prepare and maintain various indices and logs for case teams related to discovery and other chronologies
Manage case calendars and deadlines (as a supplement to the calendar department)
Assist with hearing/trial preparation and logistics, including preparation of witness files, management of exhibits, setting up trial space, and attending trial in-person, as required
Requirements:
