Responsible for performing work related to the construction and maintain of poles, power lines, auxiliary facilities, and equipment for the transmission and distribution of electricity. This position supports and learns from the Lineman team and works with other personnel from the department. Linemen are skilled craftworkers with the ability to complete, repair, and assess line work in the operation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground electrical distribution assets. We are seeking an individual who has expertise in the operation of related necessary equipment, vehicles, and tools. Frequently work with energized high voltage systems requiring skill and care to protect the lives of yourself and others. Conduct a pre-job or tailgate briefing and plan jobs. Perform reconductoring jobs. Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order.
