Responsibilities
* Responsible for providing high quality, fresh food products in a timely manner for delivery to guests.
* Prepares hot and cold foods following company recipes and portioning requirements.
* Participates as a team player with specific responsibilities as related to preparation, excellent service and delivery of product.
* Responsible for reporting any maintenance required for kitchen equipment.
* Maintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas.
* Responsible for observing and testing foods to ensure proper cooking.

Tioga Downs is hiring Line Cooks in our Buffet, Coasters and PJ Clarke's. The Line Cook is responsible for the preparation of all foods during an assigned shift, in accordance with the Company's specifications and standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Cooks are responsible for preparing, seasoning, finishing, and garnishing all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes.
Cooks follow all recipes and control procedures.
Cooks assist in all areas of food production as needed.
Cooks are responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary area at all times in full accordance with State Health Regulations.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED preferred.
One year experience as a cook or cook's apprentice in a large, full service hotel or restaurant preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
