This is a Full-Time position based in our lively kitchen, where the aromas of freshly brewed coffee and sizzling bacon fill the air each morning. Please note that this is not a remote job, and the selected candidate will be expected to work on-site at our location. Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods as per the menu and customer preferences. Ensure that the breakfast items are delivered promptly and at the appropriate temperatures. Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and reorder as necessary to maintain stock levels. Ensure the cleanliness and sanitization of kitchen equipment, work areas, and counters, complying with health and safety standards. Collaborate with the kitchen team to optimize cooking processes and meal presentation. Adjust menu items based on seasonal availability and customer feedback. Monitor food preparation methods, portion sizes, and presentation of food to ensure that food is prepared and presented in an acceptable manner. Coordinate and supervise kitchen staff in meal preparation activities from prep work to the final presentation of the dish. Handle any food-related concerns or complaints, making necessary adjustments to remedy any issues. Assist in the development of new dishes and menu options based on seasonal ingredients and customer demand. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements for food handling and sanitation. Requirements Proven experience as a cook in a similar role, with a focus on breakfast or morning meals. Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling, etc.). Ability to follow all sanitation procedures. Excellent physical condition and stamina to handle the workload and stand for extended periods. A culinary school diploma or equivalent certification. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and occasionally, customers. Detail-oriented with a knack for following recipes and recognizing culinary excellence. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure, adhering to meal service timelines. Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the shift schedule. Knowledge of best practices for food inventory, kitchen hygiene, and safety measures. A passion for the culinary arts and a commitment to food quality and presentation.
