You will be responsible for tracking project tasks, ensuring compliance with agency requirements, facilitating client communications, and assisting in the overall project coordination. Provide ArcGIS or Google Earth exhibits for PMs. Assist with Bureau of Land Management (BLM) SF-299 and Plan of Development (POD) drafts. Assist PMs and Assistant Project Managers (APMs) in facilitating client communications. Create, proofread, edit, format, and finalize project-related documents, site plans, technical memos, and reports, maintaining a high standard of quality. Assist in the preparation and submission of proposals, project setup, and schedule coordination. Electronically file and enter data following the company's document management policy and protocol. Assist PMs in the administrative process for job setup, invoicing, and accounts receivable collections. Collaborate with project teams located in multiple locations across the United States. Organize conference calls, track action items and meeting notes, and follow up on actions as needed. Actively communicate ideas for improving company and project processes with a positive and constructive attitude. Collaborate with PMs to coordinate and resolve project-related issues. Knowledge, Skills, Competencies, and Experience GIS/KMZ experience (Required). Environmental Sciences degree or related field (Preferred). Position Definition The Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth's (NPHY) Outreach Coordinator is responsible for implementing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of NPHY's Outreach Program. As part of NPHY's comprehensive continuum of services for homeless youth, NPHY goes directly to the streets to provide homeless and at-risk youth with life-sustaining supplies and vital information and referrals, to schools and other locations frequented by youth to arm at-risk youth with information to prevent homelessness, and out into the community-at large to raise awareness about this critical issue. As an integral component of our outreach efforts, NPHY also offers 24-7-365 mobile crisis intervention services through our Safe Place program, extending an entry point to our programs to virtually every street corner in Southern Nevada. NPHY's Outreach Program is often the first point of contact homeless youth have with the resources that can assist them in changing their lives. The goals of NPHY's Outreach Coordinator are to provide at-risk youth with information to prevent homelessness, getting youth experiencing homelessness support via direct connections to NPHY's programs, and supporting the Community Development & Engagement department's efforts to raise awareness about this critical issue by providing information, and conducting community outreach. In order to accomplish these goals, NPHY's Outreach Coordinator will be responsible for three major and interrelated components of NPHY's Outreach Program: youth outreach, community outreach, and Safe Place coordination. Essential Responsibilities A. Youth & Community Outreach Organize, lead, and grow NPHY's youth outreach efforts through various events and engagement opportunities with the goal of connecting youth to NPHY's services.
