We are currently seeking a Bilingual (Korean-English) Supply Chain Associate to join our new and dynamic team in Clarksville, TN as part of the Production Planning/SCM Team! The Supply Chain Associate (Collaborative, Planning, Forecasting, Replenishment) coordinates with the SCM/Production Planning Assistant Manager to assist with managing key accounts and maintains forecast models incorporating business intelligence gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailer replenishment analysts, and other sources. This position pays $60,000 annually Responsibilities * Promotes LG's FI-11 continuous improvement program which includes formal waste/loss elimination activities, such as Process Loss Improvement, and Logistics Loss Improvement, among others * Direct support for the planning and coordination, and roll-out of improvement initiatives, including Defect Rate Improvement, Material Cost and Defects Reduction among others * Supports the monitoring of meaningful key performance indicators (KPI's) for FI-11, and continuous improvement activities roll-out status * Responsible for regular (daily, weekly, monthly) report-out of multiple activities' status and drives improvement opportunities with cross-functional teams * Receives training and documentation from Korea Headquarters, and communicates key concepts to local factory employees * Supports regular lecture/cluster training on FI-11, Continuous Improvement, Problem-solving, and Critical Thinking for all levels in the organization * Responsible for the factory's Employee Engagement System (E.E.S.) which includes promoting and securing discounts with local community vendors * Handles internal factory communication postings via Canteen TVs, Factory Communication Boards, e-mail bulletins, etc. * Support with the execution of the factory's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) events throughout local community and interface with local government officials * Supports regulatory and safety compliance for all processes and teams/departments Qualifications / Skills Required: * BBA in Project Management, Operations Management or related field with 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing/factory setting (internships and co-op experience included) * Strong communication and negotiation skills * Ability to present training program content in 1:1 or group settings * Ability to demonstrate strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills * Working knowledge and ability to use MS Office applications, specifically MS Excel and MS PowerPoint * Ability to navigate and learn autonomously Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) IT Systems such as Oracle, SAP, etc. * Occasional travel (international and domestic) Preferred: * Experience with highly automated and integrated manufacturing systems * Prior experience with managing 5S, Lean, continuous improvement projects and audit processes * Six Sigma Green Belt and PMP certifications * Experience in start-ups and multicultural workplace * Ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts * Dual language (Korean) Key Behavioral Attributes * Excellent Written and Verbal Communication * Sense of urgency and results driven * Proactive - Does not Wait to React * Attention to Detail * Tolerance of Ambiguity * Ability to Work Autonomously, and as Part of a Team * Ability to convince others to align with the teams' goals * Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously * Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Benefits Offered Full-Time Employees: * No-cost employee premiums for you and your eligible dependents for competitive medical, dental, vision and prescription benefits. * Auto enrollment with immediate vesting of competitive company matching contributions in a 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan with several investment options. * Generous Paid Time Off program that includes company holidays and a combined bank of paid sick and vacation time. * Performance based Short-Term Incentives (varies by role). * Access to confidential mental health resources to help you and your loved ones improve your quality of life.
