    The Senior Desktop Engineer is responsible for managing, updating and troubleshooting our desktop environments, ensuring seamless operations of end-user devices. This role will work with IT Service Desk, IT Operations, IT Systems engineering and other units within the company to make sure that we have the appropriate applications, versions, and patches on all desktop systems, and to do advanced troubleshooting on windows end points. This role involves a variety of tasks related to modern desktop management, software deployment, and hardware troubleshooting. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Microsoft 365 (M365): Manages and supports M365 applications and services, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction. Modern Desktop Administration: Implements and maintains modern desktop solutions, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices. Monitors systems and applications for issues and performance metrics. Intune Management: Configures and manages devices, policies, and auto-deployment processes using Microsoft Intune. Desktop Imaging: Create, deploy, and maintain desktop images using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and other imaging tools Technical Lead: Recommends optimizations and improvements. Collaborate with other technical teams and business partners to develop solutions. Mentors and educates team members on new technologies, processes, and best practices. Minimum 3 years of experience deploying and managing virtual desktops environments. Cloud-based virtual desktops and Citrix experience are a plus. Minimum 3 years of experience administering Microsoft 365. Proven experience in planning, implementing, and operationalizing new and replacement solutions into existing environments. Solid background in providing escalation support for IT Operations and Service Desk teams, ensuring effective issue resolution and service continuity. Preferred experience in financial industry or other highly regulated industries. Functional/Technical Skills Proficiency in desktop imaging and deployment tools. Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration. Experience with Microsoft Intune for device and policy management. Familiarity with printer management and troubleshooting. Understanding of Modern Desktop Administration principles. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
