The Position

* Assist General Counsel and other Legal Staff with projects, presentations, reports, correspondence, or assignments as requested.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of three to five years related experience working in a law firm, legal department, and/or in-house legal department setting.
* Florida Registered Paralegal preferred.
* Ability to manage own workload independently, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
* Ability to work well independently, as well as in a team environment. Must be self-driven.
* Detail-oriented with excellent organization, planning, motivation, and interpersonal skill
* Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, complex problem-solving, judgment, and decision-making abilities related to legal information and documents.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Must have strong proficiency in eDiscovery software, Windows, and Microsoft Office programs, including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Proficiency in researching the Internet. Will be trained in Proprietary Management Software.
* Ability to work with sensitive or confidential information.

A North Miami (Bay Harbor) law firm seeks a personal injury paralegal for their growing practice. This position is responsible for the coordination of all correspondence, research, scheduling, and client communications necessary for each case.
Role and Responsibilities:
Experience handling personal injury cases from inception to closing
Bilingual Spanish is a MUST
Coordinate file closings for all litigation cases
Draft routine or complex legal documents for review and use by attorneys
Conduct legal research and investigations as needed
Schedule hearings and depositions
Prepare documents and responses to discovery requests
Organize and maintain personal injury files
Obtain medical records as needed
Conduct investigations and interviews with clients
Prepare assistance in preparation for trial, depositions, or mediation
Client communication
Education Required:
