Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate is responsible for hands on operations in the production center. Ensures all specifications are produced in the most cost effective manner within our quality control standards. Must be a team player. Must maintain adherence to all sanitation standards and procedures as dictated by local, state and federal authorities and as monitored by the LSF managers and Quality Assurance Department.
“Pick” all orders for product from restaurants and fills orders for restaurants and Wholesale department
Packs and ships all “fly out” orders
Receives orders for dry goods when delivered to QCC
Stocks warehouse shelves with dry goods
Ensure that product rotates out using the “First In, First Out” rule
Inventories goods in warehouse to confirm amounts available and what needs to be ordered
Inputs the inventory weekly
Places orders to outside vendors
Creates purchase orders
Matches invoices with purchase orders to ensure accurate billing
Process daily invoices for Accounting department
Complete all daily lab inspection forms
Fill all interdepartmental requests for product
Assist Warehouse Manager with paperwork as needed
Consistently maintain product quality and integrity
Ensures adherence to procedures, including GMP requirements, food safety, and plant personnel safety
Ensures products are produced according to specifications
Performs quality control checks to ensure standards are met
Takes corrective action as necessary on a timely basis and in accordance with company standards, communicating inferior products or procedures.
