This is an on-call position, typically needed for one-week intervals. However, the temporary assignment may be for as much as six weeks at a time. SUMMARY

The purpose of these contacts is to receive, convey, and explain detailed information regarding circuit court procedures and policies. Work is often of a confidential nature. Extensive contact with persons involved in litigation may create stressful work situations. Work requires independent judgment and is performed under general supervision of a Circuit Court Judge.
Primary responsibilities of a Circuit Judicial Assistant include the following: (1) Managing the Judge's Calendar, (2) Prepare, Review and Monitor Reports and Cases to Insure Compliance, (3) Receptionist Duties, and (4) Other Duties as Assigned.
