Job Purpose and Overview
The Distribution Market Leader will manage the overall operations of the Lakeland Distribution Center. The leader ensures overall accordance with DOT, IFS, and Dawn Foods standards and meets or exceeds budgeted expense and operating income goals while at the same time, maintaining appropriate relationships with key customers and vendors to support sales goals for the distribution center. The Distribution Leader maintains targeted service levels ensuring that customer orders are complete, delivered on time with an accurate invoice while driving margin improvement through warehouse and delivery productivity, reducing expenses, and eliminated non-value-added costs and activities. This position is also responsible for the supervision and development of several direct reports along with the front-line team members that support the distribution site.

What will you do as a District Market Leader at Dawn Foods?
Accountable to manage the Warehouse and Private Fleet Distribution Center efficiently and effectively safeguarding Dawn's assets. Continuously drives and improves productivity and eliminates nonvalue added expenses.
Ensures Inventory control, processes, and accuracy at all times implementing and following Dawn best practices and technologies reducing inventory losses to a minimum.
Responsible to build the Distribution Center budget, developing financial projections and manages performance vs budget.
Customer Service: Ensures that all products are delivered on-time and in-full, with the best possible Customer Experience (order to delivery). Accountable to manage recovery of service issues in the market in a cost-effective manner.
Team Member Leadership & Development: Responsible to ensure appropriate staffing (quantity and quality) to support safety, service and savings. Accountable for recruiting (in partnership with Human Resources) and retention of all site team members. Assesses market wage rates and ensure that Dawn remains competitive to attract and retain top talent. Ensures Team Member training, development and performance management to meet Dawn business objectives.
Safety/Compliance: Ensures that the Distribution Center adheres to and complies with all DOT, IFS, OSHA, and FDA standards throughout the facility. Builds and sustains safety culture, ensuring on-time training, active safety committees, near-miss awareness & reporting, and team member coaching. Drives consistent improvement in go-home-safe rate.
Warehouse Execution: Accountable to ensure that all warehouse processes and procedures are followed, leveraging WMS technology to support proper inventory control and effective and efficient receiving, storage and picking / loading. Ensures facility maintenance and sanitation are completed timely and according to Dawn standards. Utilizes and implements technology solutions for efficient distribution operations.
Strategic Planning: Develops and executes strategic plans for distribution within the area. Able to align distribution strategy with overall business objectives. Anticipates and proactively plans for distribution needs and challenges that will arise.
Private Fleet Management: Ensures safe, compliant, and efficient operation of Dawn private fleet, leveraging technology (primarily Descartes Suite: Roadnet and Greenmile) to plan and execute delivery in compliance with all DOT regulations and Dawn policies. Ensures that Dawn drivers serve as front-line ambassadors of Dawn in all delivery interactions.
Matrix Leadership: Partners with Sales, Finance, Customer Service, Administrative and other Dawn Team Members in the market to build and maintain a cohesive culture reflecting Dawn values and ensuring exceptional service to our customers.
Dawn Ambassador: Acts as an ambassador for the company within the industry and the community to bring awareness to the Dawn brand. Demonstrates Dawn Values and supports the Circle of Excellence.
What Does It Take to be a District Market Leader at Dawn Foods?
Minimum of a high school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 7 years' experience in a stand-alone site leadership role in a distribution center or manufacturing environment required or combination of related training and experience, certification preferred.
Prior experience with Continuous Improvement/Lean methods required. Green or Black belt certification preferred.
Ability to professionally interact and influence internal and external contracts positively and proactively.
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.
In-depth knowledge of systems and process relating to inventory management, warehouse management and customer order fulfillment.
Demonstrated experience in utilization WMS technologies required, SAP and EWM highly preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills required, including prior responsibility for building annual budgets and managing performance within financial parameters.
Prior experience in a multi-temperature distribution environment highly preferred.
Leadership and supervision of private fleet operations, including sound knowledge of DOT requirements and supporting technology (e.g. Roadnet, Greenmile or similar applications) highly preferred.

The Details:
Work Hours and Location
24+ hours per week are flexible and may change from day to day, evenings and weekends as needed based on customer needs. This is an in-office position (expected 60% of time) that will also require travel to site (40%). Occasionally could work from home.
Compensation Plan

As a Shift Lead, some responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Completes FOH and BOH check-out procedures.
Familiar and able to assist manager with prep list, ordering, production schedule, and inventory.
FOOD daily taste plates, prep lists, open kitchen, check-in all orders (signed off on by KM/GM).
Able to open and/or close a shift on own.
Mid-Day and PM drawer-counts, nightly closing duties/paperwork, nightly email, 3PD reconciliation, POS oversight.
Demonstrates excellent guest service at all times.
Communicates guest and/or team member issues to management.
Communicates any other concerns, such as safety issues, to management in a timely manner.

The Role*
The FCI Production Manager is responsible for delivering the installation of a project to the level of expectation set in the sale of the project. This position is the key to ensuring that customers have a positive experience and that jobs are produced both efficiently and profitably. The Details:
Work Hours and Location
24+ hours per week are flexible and may change from day to day, evenings and weekends as needed based on customer needs. Activities will include QC Checks, Installer Checks, Purchasing, networking, training, internal meetings, local events, and other business-related activities.
This is an in-office position (expected 60% of time) that will also require travel to site (40%). Occasionally could work from home.
Compensation Plan
You compensation package includes an hourly base style of $18.00 - $25/hour based on qualifications and experience level.
Commission/Bonus*
In addition to your salary, you will be eligible for the following bonuses (up to 35% times your base salary)
