WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Supervise the Colorado water and wastewater team, managing business development strategy and project assignments to attain high-quality outcomes.
* Mentor leaders and support staff to achieve career development, quality, and profitability goals.
* Expand services by nurturing sub-practices within the water practice, expanding services to clients.
* Build and oversee project teams for water and wastewater projects, ensuring quality control for Colorado.
* Organize the team for efficiency, assigning the right professionals and ensuring standard contract documents and specifications are available. Hands-on participation is expected.
* Collaborate with Business Unit management on growth, staffing, and financial performance.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (A.B.E.T. Accredited School).
* Twenty (20) plus years of experience in infrastructure engineering.
* Colorado Professional Engineering (PE) license. Demonstrated success in Marketing and Business Development of professional engineering services in the Colorado area, including five (5) years of successful experience in Business Development and Project Management for municipal projects.
* Ability to direct, manage, and mentor a multi-disciplinary team of design engineers and technicians and a proven track record of successful project delivery.
* Strong technical design experience in water and wastewater projects.
