The Lead Cemetery Grounds is responsible for operating and maintaining the cemetery grounds and facilities. This includes personnel management, cemetery operations, facility management, grounds management, equipment maintenance, supply/inventory management, resource management, strategic planning, and policy/procedures development.
Overview & Responsibilities:
* Manages, trains, and monitors work progress of the cemetery grounds team members
* Ensures effective communication of deliverables and work orders from the cemetery sales group to the cemetery grounds team
* Coordinates daily plans and goals as it pertains to the full scope of cemetery operations
* Assists with the hiring process of new cemetery grounds team members
* Ensures proper grave, mausoleum and niche are identified prior to burial, entombment, and inurnments
* Maintains proper stock of cemetery outer burial containers, granite markers, and fuel for cemetery equipment
* Orders replacement parts for cemetery equipment such as tents and grave setup equipment
* Cuts grass, maintains lawn, trims trees, maintains walkways and memorial marker, lays sod, moves and removes flowers to and from chapel and graveside

* Completes minor repairs to grave markers and other cemetery features
* Assembles tents, and canopies and arranges chairs for graveside ceremony
* Prepares crypts for entombments, installs grave markers, bronze memorials, crypt faces, and other tasks as needed
* Operates equipment safely and carefully to avoid damage to cemetery property
* Maintains, service, cleans, and properly store equipment
* Assists with maintenance of cemetery vehicles as needed
* Assists in loading or unloading caskets, and moving/installing vaults as needed
* Observes safety rules and ensures compliance with the operating procedures of corporate, federal, state, and local regulations, including OSHA regulations and Safety and Environmental guidelines
Requirements & Qualifications:
* High school diploma or the equivalent
* Minimum five years of experience in grounds/facility maintenance

Job Summary
The Cultivation Lead supervises and assists Cultivation team in performing all the tasks necessary to grow various strains of quality cannabis including but not limited to feeding the plants, defoliation, super cropping, flushing, foliar and preventative sprays, waste disposal and inventory management for a large commercial facility. The Cultivation Lead works closely with the Cultivation Technicians, Cultivation Manager and the Cultivation Director on all aspects of cultivation.
Duties and Responsibilities
Opens and closes designated grow zones according to Ayr Wellness standard operating procedures.
Checks for any plant loss or stress, malfunctioning cultivation equipment, and any uncompleted tasks from the day before.
Double checks that all items on the Opening and Closing checklist are completed successfully and according to SOP's, delegating tasks to other Cultivators as necessary.
Performs daily inspections of plants for overall health, pests, disease or sex change.
Assesses overall plant health and well-being and give individual plants tailored attention based on need.
Assists in maintaining a clean and organized work environment
Understands and becomes familiar with all cultivation equipment and tools and the cleaning of all equipment and tools
Sets up a team for success by making sure every team member has the supplies and equipment needed for an activity.
Assists Cultivation Manager with rotation of strains through garden to ensure a variety and quantity for dispensary locations.
Constantly monitors environmental controls to ensure environmental controls are in optimal range; Temperature, Humidity, Vapor Pressure Deficit, CO2 ppm, Water Temperature, Dissolved Oxygen ppm, Light Intensity, etc.
Assists the Cultivation Manager with tracking plants from birth to harvest by ensuring proper and accurate documentation for applicable activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Must meet age requirement as outlined by state cannabis agencies.
Able to pass all background checks/fingerprinting as required by state cannabis agencies.
Able to provide valid badging/credentials as required by state cannabis agencies.
Two years of experience in general cannabis cultivation or commercial production gardening.
Minimum 6 months of professional experience in agriculture, horticulture, or cannabis industry.
Ability to make decisions when needed.
Accurate data-entry and record keeping.
Thorough understanding of state and local medical and/or recreational cannabis laws and how they apply to the operations of Ayr Wellness.
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
Effective time-management skills and ability to multitask.
Must be able to work on nights, weekends, or alternate shifts.

The Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches is a non-profit organization that provides summer camp opportunities to Florida's Youth. We operate three traditional sleep away camps along with a traveling day camp program. Group Leaders for Mobile Camp will travel each week to different cities in Florida.
Currently we are hiring for our Group Leader positions. Come work a few hours a month (PRN) now until the start of our summer season in May when you will transition to full time for the summer.

SUMMARY
The position of Group Leader is the most vital aspect of the Summer Camping Program because it has constant interaction with the campers. This position involves the continuous leadership, guidance and supervision of campers. This position will participate in the planned camp program and serve as the major initiator of group activities. The Group Leader is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the campsite and unit area. The Group Leader is directly supervised by the Senior Group Leader and/or Mobile Camp Site Director. This position is exempt from overtime pay.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrates alertness and discretion while supervising campers in order to maintain a safe camping experience for all participants.

Uses creativity, enthusiasm and initiative when leading assigned group to camp activities in order to engage youth and ensure their participation in a fun and exciting camp atmosphere.

Uses hospitality and attentiveness to make all donors, deputies and guests feel included and comfortable at all camping programs.
Exercises flexibility and availability when faced with change and displays a willingness to assist in any Camping Services program when requested.
Demonstrates resourcefulness and thriftiness in the wise stewardship of the agency's resources including all equipment, buildings, vehicles and other assets are maintained at Youth Ranches' standards.
Practices diligence and orderliness when completing required paperwork such as mileage logs, travel expense vouchers, incident reports and time sheets.
Displays honor, obedience and flexibility when direction is given or a request is made thus contributing to the smooth operation and success to the Youth Ranches program.

During a paid week of pre-service training all staff will receive transferable certifications in Adult First Aid/ CPR/AED ($30 value) along with training on topics such as; trauma informed care, non-violent crisis intervention, and the basics of childcare.
Specialty certifications are offered in early May. Lifeguarding ($350 value) High Ropes Practitioner ($900 value) Archery Instructor ($50 value).
