Assists Supervisor in administering disciplinary action when needed.
Communicates issues involving safety, quality, and production to Supervisor.
Helps ensure the safety of employees in work area by immediately reporting hazards; ensuring employees perform proper housekeeping; and monitoring employees' proper use of PPE and adherence to safety policies and procedures.
Ensures employees have proper instructions and that goals are clearly communicated throughout the shift.
Receiving:
Controls all cycle counting in area.
Arranges all work schedules for Receiving employees.
Schedules trucks of copper/hairpins/etc. for unloading.
Ensures all parts are received and stored in the proper manner.
Other Responsibilities:
Motivates employees through positive and constructive coaching.
Performs housekeeping in and around work area.
Flexibility to work in other areas of the plant, as required.
Manages multiple tasks at a time.
Attends off-shift training when required.
