The University of Southern Maine's STEM Outreach Program is part of the College of Science, Technology and Health and oversees the Maine Robotics programs, along with the Southworth Planetarium, and coordinates numerous K-12 STEM outreach programs that reside at USM. Training is provided either during the first week of camps and/or the last week of June.
The STEM Camp Leader is responsible for the day-to-day operation of any of the USM/Maine Robotics' STEM camps. Each camp consists of up to 16 campers, ages can range from 9 to 17, but no camp would have more than a 5-year range. Responsibilities include oversight of the staff, check-in, and check-out of all campers for each day, maintaining contact with parents, resolving any conflicts between campers, giving short educational presentations to the campers, securing of the facility (room), resolving equipment problems, and in general providing the leadership for the camp. Responsible for orchestrating the move of the camp(s) between different locations with the help of the camp counselors and/or the University of Southern Maine central staff. Recruiting and facilitating visiting presenters or local (walking) or transported field trips as the location allows. Covering other camp rooms may temporarily be needed. This position may require the ability to switch between topics from one week to another.

This is a semi-full-time position and is seasonal (Monday-Friday during the camp season). Camps are full-day and run roughly 8am - 4pm depending upon the location. Pay is hourly - including set-up and clean-up time. Starting pay for CAMP LEADS is $18-$25 per hour DOE, and is $18- $20 per hour for CAMP ASSISTANTS.

Facilitating day camps for children from preschool through elementary school

The Opportunity
Robust Information Security governance and controls, including Cyber and related Physical Security controls, are core to P&G's future success. The cyber threats continue to evolve, and P&G is not exempt from attacks. As the Site Cyber Security Leader at the Andover Plant, you will be accountable to the Information Technology/Operational Technology Leader (IT/OT) for the delivery and execution of critical Information Security strategic choices and projects, ensuring P&G mitigates the risks, vulnerabilities, and technological issues which may prevent us from achieving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
+ Lead and drive technical expertise in connection with business needs and the broader Product Supply Security organization to address those needs
+ Interface across the organization with other teams, such as system operations, infrastructure, security personnel, etc . to build capability and drive tasks/projects to completion.
+ Manage and coordinate with the application owners to ensure that information security systems implemented meet the requirements of the information security policies.
+ Accountable to engage with application managers and complete Application vetting and information security controls verification for applications in their business area
+ Engage and assess security capabilities of critical third parties for their business area, including contracts and associated risks profile and security interventions for remediation
+ Act as P&G Information Security policy and standards ambassadors and contribute to development as necessary
+ Provide input to Site Information Technology budget (project work, obsolescence etc.)
+ Own and manage various Cyber Security and Operational Technology (OT) related systems and applications, as well as Cyber Security-related KPIs.
+ Managing and performing plant security operations including firewall rules, security alerts and incident response, provisioning and reviewing access
+ OS Obsolescence Mgmt., Application/Database/Network Security (digital architecture design and patching)
+ Stewardship/Governance - Security Policy and Standard Compliance, Self-Assessment and Audit Readiness
+ Project work (Active Directory transformation, deploying zero trust principles and best in class security capabilities)
Job Qualifications
+ Bachelor or Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security or related field
+ Strong Written and Verbal English communication skills
+ Self-starter - capability to work autonomously will driving key work/projects for the site and communicating updates clearly to key collaborators.
+ Good ability to communicate clearly to all levels of the organization (strong business writing and presentation skills)
Preferred Qualifications
+ 1-2+ years of Information Security work experience (in one of the following areas: Cyber Security, Risk Management, Penetration Testing, Information Security, etc.)
+ External information security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent) - P&G offers tools and sponsorship to obtain one of these certifications

Job Mission:
Perform diversified duties to ensure the efficient operation of automated production machinery and track system and effective use of the machine. Priorities include safety, quality and productivity while operating the machines.
Major Accountabilities:
Operate automated and semi-automated equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Inspect machinery daily. Monitor workstation functions. Troubleshoot equipment error messages and alarms. Notify supervisor of problems.
Perform daily validation and calibration testing to ensure equipment is in proper working order.
Monitor the quality of parts being produced to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
Assist additional operators on machine as necessary to ensure production and quality standards are maintained.

Clean machine and workspace to a preset schedule.
Work with engineering and supervisor to make adjustments to the equipment to improve quality and productivity.
Start up and shutdown the machine following the established procedures.
Maintain a daily record of processing information: i.e.: pairs produced, chemical ratios, mold changes, scrap, down time, etc.
Assist in training operators in proper operation of machine. Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed.
Collaboratively support Lean factory initiatives and tools.
Perform other duties as required or directed.
Requirements for Success:
Demonstrated ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing or a committed path of learning or upgrading English skills accepted.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing process or a related area required; proven ability to think critically and objectively.
Mechanical aptitude helpful.
Strong demonstration of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the manufacturing process.
