JOB SUMMARY:
Performs special diagnostic and interventional procedures in Cardiac and Radiology areas, including interventional angiographic procedures, interventional diagnostic procedures, and cardiac catheterization procedures.
Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of all equipment components, including patient monitoring devices
Serves as resource to departmental leadership to identify training and educational needs of staff.
Provides clinical leadership and knowledge, assist in evaluation and training of new staff or new skill requirement.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/PREFERENCES:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Cardiovascular Technology Program.
Provides evidence of continuing education as required to maintain licensure.
Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Current ARRT, Maryland licensure as Radiologic Tech or RCIS or RCES certification.
BCLS certification
EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum one year of interventional radiology or cardiology experience required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Patient-care areas; requires standing for long periods; the noise level is usually moderate with exposure to drills and saws; work pace is generally steady with occasional hectic periods due to patient census, status or emergencies. Subject to exposure to blood-borne pathogens, formaldehyde, latex, dust, fumes, odors, mists, gasses, biological, mechanical, electrical, chemical and other hazardous materials. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The Technical Manager will be responsible for A/V maintenance and upgrades for a number of spaces around campus, from small rooms with just a projector and a screen, to the 960-seat auditorium with audio, video, lighting, and livestreaming systems. The technical manager will supervise one A/V technician, and a number of student technicians to appropriately staff and provide resources and coverage for all internal and external campus events. The technical manager will be the lead audio mixing engineer for Kraushaar Auditorium and will have a detailed knowledge of the audio, lighting, and video systems in the main event spaces on campus. The technical manager will also work with the director and event coordinators to consult with external clients on A/V needs and provide quotes for external event support.
Essential Job Functions:
A. 35% Using the college's EMS system, coordinate the A/V resources and staffing needed for all internal and external events held on campus. Maintain an inventory of available resources as well as a pool of student technicians and external part-time technicians, to provide coverage for all events. Train any student or part time technicians on the use of A/V systems to support events. Maintain quick resource guides for basic functions. Maintain a schedule of technicians so all events have appropriate A/V staffing.
B. 25% Maintain and operate the A/V systems of the three primary venues (Kraushaar Auditorium, Merrick Lecture Hall, and the Atheneum venue space) with supervisory responsibilities for A/V Technician staff. Collaborate with academic or administrative staff to make sure we can meet all tech specifications for an event. Coordinate with ECS staff to develop, quote, and provide all audio-visual support for external events.
C. 20% Provide maintenance and support for numerous non-classroom spaces around campus. This ranges from small projector setups to a 200-person conference space with dual projector screens. Identify damaged or broken equipment, make repairs as needed, or present options for repair or replacement to the Director. Collaborate with the Director to conduct technology planning to maintain and improve functionality of event spaces over time.
D. 5% Work with the Director to develop and implement new standard operating procedures for both external and internal events. This should also include virtual events. Establish protocols for the A/V resources and technicians and establish their rates.
E.5% Direct and actively participate in large scale campus events to provide, run, and recommend A/V support.
Education:
Required: High School Diploma
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Technical Theater, Audio/Visual Technology, or a related field.
Professional Experience:
Required: 3 years of experience in the audio visual or event productions fields. The ability to setup, operate, and maintain audio, lighting, video, and projection equipment and systems for events, meetings, conferences, athletic events and more. An understanding of video and audio routing, switching, and recording.
Preferred: 5 years of experience running productions in a performing arts theatre and/or running corporate or higher education events. Familiarity with digital audio consoles, including Midas and Yamaha, and also lighting consoles from ETC and others alike. Strong industry experience in theater production, live events, or A/V management. Familiarity with Crestron and Extron devices and networks.
