Position Summary
In this entry level position, the engineer assists in the design, testing, and analysis of electro-mechanical systems.
Essential Functions
Leads small to moderate design projects under supervision
Confers with senior level engineers to clarify or resolve problems
Interfaces directly with Applications Engineers and senior level engineers to define and document project scope
Assists upper-level engineers with development and design of precision electro-mechanical systems using solid modelling and other design tools
Prepares technical documentation for use by Production in manufacturing precision electro-mechanical systems.
Troubleshoots problems in manufacturing or repair of electro-mechanical systems
Analyzes technical documentation and results to determine if design meets functional and performance specifications
