The Equipment Engineer will work in the Class 100 semiconductor facility overseeing process equipment. Responsible for managing all equipment used in wafer fabrication and characterization. Including multiple process tools such as: high-vacuum deposition systems, plasma-enhanced deposition and etch systems, anneal ovens/furnaces, photo tracks and aligners/steppers, and various inspection/measurement tools. Part of the responsibilities will also include definition, selection and installation of new equipment to enhance current process capabilities and/or to improve wafer throughput. Define appropriate preventive and routine maintenance procedures for the equipment. Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, preventative maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting of software and hardware issues on all process and characterization equipment. Assist with the definition, selection and installation of new equipment. Perform ongoing assessment of equipment to enhance process capabilities and maintain processes, equipment hardware and to improve equipment up time.
