Position Overview
As a key member of the Legal Team, the Disability Rights Attorney works on issues such as disability
discrimination in employment, housing, and public accommodations. The Disability Rights Attorney will
handle multiple cases and advocacy projects with appropriate supervision depending on experience, including
leading individual client representation, administrative practice, appellate advocacy, technical assistance,
systemic advocacy, outreach, training, and policy advocacy. This work may also include monitoring facilities

Reporting Relationships

Primary Responsibilities

Responsibilities:
Privacy Compliance: Stay abreast of evolving privacy laws and regulations, both domestically and internationally.
Draft, review, and update privacy policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure they reflect current legal standards and best practices.
Offer advice and counsel to clients on privacy and cybersecurity matters, including drafting privacy policies, compliance with applicable privacy and security laws, implementation of internal policies and governance, internal investigations to assess corporate privacy compliance, data breach preparedness and response, and product design and development.
Draft and negotiate data privacy aspects of commercial contracts for technology and other companies.
Draft and negotiate agreements for data processing, SaaS, and intellectual property licensing.
Provide M&A support on data privacy and security issues.
Requirements:
JD from a top-tier law school
Licensed to practice law in Colorado.
2+ years of experience in privacy law, ideally gained at a leading law firm, or sophisticated in-house department.
Experience advising clients regarding privacy and data protection laws.
Experience drafting and revising privacy aspects of commercial contracts for technology transactions.
