The Legal Advisor works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial. Small Business Litigation and Transaction Lawyer - Tulsa, OK 74114 Job Description: Our attorneys represent small businesses in three roughly equal ways: Transactions: For example, Drafting LLC docs, Drafting Customer or Employee Contracts, Reviewing Vendor Contracts and Business Sale Agreements. Conflict Driven Cases: These are not yet in litigation but might be headed there. We do a lot of business “divorces”, breach of contract matters and a bit of commercial collections. Responsibilities The Family Defense Practice Attorney embodies how we approach this work in the following aspects: Client-Centered Direct Representation of Clients Represent clients against child abuse and child neglect allegations in juvenile deprived proceedings. This includes representation at the first show cause appearance through to adjudication and/or termination trials. Center decision-making on all matters on clients, with a focus on working to meet client's goals Advocate for clients in other legal venues such as family civil court as needed. Holistic & Collaborative Representation Collaborate with other members of a client's defense team, including advocates, social workers and investigators to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to combat the variety of social service, governmental and legal burdens placed on a client. Collaborate with other attorneys on representation of a mutual client in multiple venues, including coordinating legal strategies, co-counseling appearances/hearings.
