The Job
We are looking for a hardworking, experienced attorney to help take our growing law firm to the next level! The primary responsibilities of an Associate Attorney include, but are not limited to:
Meeting with prospective clients and current clients and developing case strategies.
Preparing and attending court appearances.
Drafting letters and pleadings.
Reaching billing requirements
Generating new cases.
Traveling to surrounding counties, if needed.
Delegating work to paralegals and legal assistants and monitoring their work.
Mentoring and inspiring other team members.
The Essentials
Being fluent in English and Spanish is preferred.
You must be a member of the North Carolina State Bar and in good standing.
You must have two (2) or more years of legal experience as an attorney, preferably in the area of family law.
You must show initiative and have the capacity to handle cases and clients independently (after a period of orientation and monitored work).
You must have strong communication, research, and writing skills.
