Compensation will be based on experience. Applicants with very little or no experience may expect to start at around $70,000 per year, while more experienced attorneys might expect to start at around $85,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to base pay, attorneys at the firm eventually make more money through commissions or bonuses. Important factors considered may include experience working with a team in an office environment, the number of years of practice, the variety of practice experience in different areas of immigration law, leadership experience, courtroom experience, and other related factors. For example, a younger attorney with less than three years of experience may be compensated at the lower end of the range in this job posting, while an attorney with a strong track record of success as an immigration attorney over several years may be compensated at the higher end. We strive to provide a compensation package that is not only competitive, but that goes above and beyond the norm for immigration attorneys in the industry. We offer a base salary, 401k plan, health insurance, dental and vision insurance, a small life insurance benefit, paid time off, and coverage for license renewal and continuing legal education costs. For the right person, the firm may also offer to help cover moving costs to relocate to Utah. Our firm has multiple remote attorneys who are based in home offices across the country.
