POSITION OVERVIEW
The Legal Assistant will be an integral part of the Kate Farms legal team, providing essential support to the General Counsel and the broader legal department. This role involves managing legal documentation, facilitating communication, and ensuring the smooth operation of legal processes. WHAT YOU WILL DO
· Perform Intake on Incoming Legal Requests: Serve as the initial point of contact for legal inquiries and requests. Assess and prioritize requests to ensure timely and appropriate responses.
· Legal Tracker & Carta: Manage our e-billing software, Legal Tracker. Support the management and administration of equity-related matters using Carta software.
· Executive Assistant to the General Counsel: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the General Counsel, including scheduling, correspondence, and meeting preparation.
· General Support to the Legal Team: Offer administrative and logistical support to the legal team, facilitating collaboration and communication within the department.
· Implement and Develop Legal Department Procedures: Assist in the creation and refinement of procedures to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the legal department.
· Create Presentations and Communications: Develop and prepare presentations, reports, and other communications to support legal initiatives and convey information effectively.
· Perform Other Administrative Tasks: Execute various administrative duties as needed to support the legal team and contribute to the overall success of the department.

· Education: Minimum, requirement: An undergraduate degree.

The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
