What our clients have to say about us (anonymized, well, because lawyers):
1. Partner - Houston - M&A and Private Equity - AmLaw 15 / Vault 15
The team at KCR has helped us scale our corporate group more substantively than any other search group. Having personnel that are ex-big law or corporate attorneys is a huge edge for them. They research and understand the market well, know who the players are, and focus on the nuances between practice areas. We had a real problem with other recruiters sending us private equity adjacent lawyers, like public M&A folks, but the KCR team understands these differences. So when we receive a candidate from them, we're more likely to favor their candidate over others.
2. Partner - Dallas - M&A
The KCR team helped me move from an AmLaw 100 firm to an AmLaw 20 firm. I received a large signing bonus and ended up making Partner. The KCR team listened to my pain points with my current firm and worked with me to solve them accordingly. Having a team of former practitioners and current strategists was helpful. The position they found me was off-market, so the firm wasn't interviewing a lot of people. All in all, a great experience.
3. Vault 15 Senior Associate to Vault 15 Real Estate Partner - Relocation and move upward to Partner
As a Senior Associate in Real Estate from a V15 RE firm, I had already interviewed with another firm in Texas before contacting the KCR team. KCR prefaced the conversation that while Senior Associate to Partner moves are extremely rare, they'd be willing to market me on a no-names basis. Although I originally received an offer to join the firm as a Counsel, the KCR team advocated for me to come over as a Partner and the firm accommodated.
