Our Business Group has represented buyers and sellers in some of the most significant and complex wine industry transactions. Candidates should have experience in all aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including drafting and negotiating acquisition agreements and ancillary documents, supervising junior associates, and otherwise managing and closing transactions, as well as experience working with corporate formation, general corporate work, and governance and compliance matters.
This is a full-time position based in our Napa office. The yearly salary range for this position is expected to be $110,000 - $150,000, with additional production-based monthly billable hour bonuses. Base compensation will be determined by several conditions, including but not limited to: relevant experience, skills, qualifications, internal pay equity and other job-related factors permitted by law. Billable hour bonuses range between $24K to $60K annually, contingent on meeting billable hour requirements of 1,500 (or more) billable hours.
Qualifications and Required Skills:
JD from a top-tier ABA approved school, preferably already licensed in California
One or more years of experience, preferably practicing in California
Finely tuned analytical skills and the ability to interpret and analyze a multitude of documents including transactional documents, diligence materials and a variety of similar documents
Ability to handle high-volume workload and effectively prioritize matters
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work in a collaborative work environment. While each practice group has its specialized disciplines, we work cross-functionally with attorneys from all areas of the firm.
