Skills and attributes for success:
* Examining, preparing, and processing a variety of technical legal documents, e.g., complaints, motions, orders, answers, pleadings, and subpoenas.
* Providing assistance to attorneys in trial preparations.
* Assembling trial exhibits, affidavits, discovery in various formats, and other legal documents.
* Assembling and organizing files and records materials for disposition or transfer to the records depository.
* Maintaining a calendar of assigned active cases.

* Arranging travel by preparing itineraries and securing transportation and hotel reservations.
Qualifications:
* At least one year of specialized litigation experience

* Must be able to obtain a favorably adjudicated Public Trust Clearance
Ideally, you will also have:

Chronologies Legal Assistant will assist with preparing a legal report that provides a concise, factual, and informative summary of the foreclosure process. Maintain a daily workload to meet all client and regulatory requirements. Daily work is distributed to all of the team members for completion each day. Maintains a working knowledge of work rules and/or changes of these rules governing chronologies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Complete daily workload and ensures that all prepared chronologies for clients are completed in accordance with governing work rules, client procedures and service level agreements
Handles/Ensures all escalations on correspond with attorney, sales and clients on issues that will be included on the chronologies in applicable timeframes.
Ensure all chronology reports are sent to the requestor via Lender system
Respond to client inquires via phone, email, and lender systems regarding additional details about the chronologies.
Assist with Maintaining workflow timeliness through investor prioritization including approaching standard items and RUSH items, to maximize compliance with client service level agreements.
Stay informed of client changes and updates and take appropriate action as required.
Stay informed of CFPB changes state regulatory changes.
Perform other duties as required.
