Job Description We are looking for a dedicated individual who enjoys maintaining commercial landscape beds and possesses a wide variety of landscaping skills. You will perform a wide variety of landscape maintenance duties at private school with a very large property in the Greenhills area. Compensation: $19 per hour Regular hours: 12 month position; Monday - Friday: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (flexible) Job Requirements: Perform landscaping duties that include: a significant amount of string trimming and leaf blowing, as well as some planting, seeding, weeding, and mowing. Will be asked to help with snow removal. Occasionally engaging in other work activities, such as moving furniture, setting up and tearing-down public events, and assisting with basic repairs to meet customer needs. Must be able to handle a work shift with constant motion; including bending and twisting the body, making repetitive motions, climbing ladders, and standing for long periods, Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds (on an intermittent basis) Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work indoors and outdoors, with some exposure to inclement weather and loud conditions Installation and maintenance of Irrigation system a plus Qualifications Minimum of a high school diploma or GED Commercial lawn care equipment experience a plus Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record necessary for operating company vehicles Must be able to pass the criminal background check required to work in educational facilities with children present.
