Key Responsibilities • Maintain landscapes throughout golf course, club amenities, residential homes and common areas to include but not limited to weeding, lawn mowing, and string trimming, edging, mulching, fertilizing, pruning, and raking. • Install new landscape plantings and annual color (spring and fall) at residential homes, on the golf course, and around the club. • Water and maintain new plantings as well as annual plantings. • Participate in leaf removal during dormant seasons, as needed, throughout property. • Basic knowledge of proper chemical and fertilizer applications to maintain a healthy and aesthetically pleasing landscape. • Safe operation of all hand tools, large and small equipment such as push mowers, zero turn mowers, skid steer, tractors and mini-excavator. • Keep all work areas orderly and neat. • Assist with landscape projects as requested. • Participate in daily set-up/closing of the departments' tools and equipment. • Report any safety or maintenance issues immediately to the Landscape Manager/Horticulturist. • Attend department meetings and trainings as necessary. • Any other duties as assigned. Qualifications • Prior experience in landscaping, preferably within a residential or hospitality environment. • Ability to operate landscape machinery such as push rotary mowers, string trimmers, backpack blowers, utility vehicles, and riding mowers. • Possess a valid driver's license and ability to operate vehicles properly and safely. • Plant knowledge/Horticultural Practices knowledge a plus.
