Maintain accurate, complete and timely program records including but not limited to sports, programs, schedules and assists participants and parents as needed. This includes officiating as needed.
Adhere to program standards including, but not limited to safety and cleanliness.
Follow all applicable policies and procedures, including those related to medical and disciplinary situations, child abuse prevention and emergencies.
Maintain positive relations with parents and other staff. Model relationship-building skills in all interactions.
Assist in supervision of volunteers involved in sport or activity.
Child Protection Responsibilities:
Adheres to policies related to boundaries with youth.
Participates in all required management training.
Adheres to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising youth.
Reports suspicious or inappropriate behaviors and policy violations.
Follows mandated abuse reporting requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma/GED; some college preferred.
Previous demonstrated experience working with children and diverse populations.
Experience in one or more of the following areas: outdoor living, camping, music, skits, sports, aquatics, and/or recreational games.
CPR, First Aid, AED certifications, Communicable Disease and Child Abuse Prevention training within 30 days of hire.
