The work of the Lead Landscape Worker is performed independently with general supervision from a Facilities Work Expeditor or Facilities Maintenance Team Leader. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday (7:30 am - 4:00 pm), but flexibility will be required to support Cary events; including evening or weekend work.     The primary function of this position is to assist in the Landscape maintenance of a utility grade farm. WORK REQUIREMENTS You will report to a management approved supervisor which may be reassigned as workload changes. Basic general labor duties preparing work area for use of various equipment, mainly utilizing weed-eater equipment. Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment and materials Dig ditches or trenches, and compact and level earth to grade specifications, using picks, shovels, and rakes Ability to thoroughly keep equipment, vehicles, materials, tools, and all company property clean and neat. Job requires working in all elements, depending on job location, time of year, heat, cold, rain, mud, etc. Ability to work well with others and understand and take direction from all levels of upper management Must maintain a clean driving record, and have the ability to transport crew to and from each job site.
