Entegris is currently seeking a Manager, Manufacturing Engineering Liquids, to join our Manufacturing Engineering team. This position will be based in our Burnet, TX facility.
In this role, you will lead a team of engineers whose objective is to sustain and continuously improve specialty chemical manufacturing processes for products used in semiconductor manufacturing. Our specialty chemicals enable our customers to build high performance semiconductor products. This role will be primarily responsible for the engineering component of our Distillation, Blends, and Utilities Production work cells.
In this role you will:
Set to a “Safety First” culture by performing equipment, process, and behavioral audits and recommending/implementing solutions to risks.
Develop strong understanding of work cell equipment and processes to enable support of manufacturing operations.
Set the work direction within the work cell for a team of full time and rotational engineers, coops and interns.
Translate the site goals into short- and long-term goals for the liquids engineering team
Support your direct team through regular coaching and feedback as well as any escalation support as necessary. Ensure individual's growth by creating and identifying development opportunities both through day-to-day projects and tasks as well as formal continuing education.
Lead by example, by making individual technical contribution, completing your own projects, and supporting manufacturing directly in addition to supervisory duties.
Collaborate with Production management for your work cell to develop improvement roadmaps and align your working team.
In addition, your team will be responsible for:
Lead continuous improvement projects both individually and in collaboration with cross functional team members following robust change control processes and using statistical data analysis to support qualification.
Leverage statistical process control tools and methodology to identify both proactive and reactive opportunities for improvement. Maintain effective internal control limits and work with customer teams on negotiating limits for key customers that provide quality assurance to customer while maintaining manufacturability for the factory.
Complete failure analysis to identify root cause, develop and implement corrective/preventative actions along with material disposition to resolve both internal and external non-conformances. Collaborate with customer teams on reporting findings and action closures, using 8D template when applicable.
Utilize structured problem-solving tools such as 8D, 5 Why, RCA, Fishbone, etc to drive to root cause and then resolution in a methodical fashion for both product and process defects or upsets.
Collaborate with CQE organization to support customer requests as well as audits.
Maintain and improve key process documentation such as work instructions, FMEAs, and control plans and incorporate updates as new failure modes are identified or process changes are implemented. Also responsible for maintaining critical master data in ERP system such as BOMs, Routings, material master information.
Develop and/or maintain target capacity data for equipment and processes to be used in production planning or long-range strategic planning exercises.
Leverage capacity data to identify bottlenecks and candidates for capacity expansion projects. Scope and execute capacity expansion projects to completion.
Support production by troubleshooting equipment or process breakdowns, ensuring robust PM plans and critical spares identified and stocked.
Communicate effectively across the organization (e.g. marketing, R&D, facilities, operations, etc.) to drive a result. Contribute to the direction of the department in partnership with other members of the team and leadership
Persistently drive resolution to highest impact issues/threats to manufacturing with a strong sense of urgency and integrity
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or similar
10+ years of experience in a technical role with 5+ years in a managerial role in the semiconductor industry or related industries
Experience transferring and/or scaling up new chemical manufacturing processes
Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) as well as statistical data analysis for application to Qualification and Validation. Experience with Minitab a plus. Preferred Lean/Black Belt certification, and competency in statistical process control methodology
Demonstrated ability to lead structured problem-solving using tools such as 8D, FMEA, 5 Why, RCA, etc
Experience working with the business units and customers to lead technical task force teams to solve quality problems at customer sites
Aptitude for leadership to drive cross-functional project execution and problem solving while maintaining positive/collaborative working relationships
Ability to present technical data to all levels of the organization
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and wear PPE as necessary
Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally in support of various engineering projects/escalations (

The successful candidate for this position will:

What You'll Do

Monitor swimming areas to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of all individuals in and around the water.

Conduct regular inspections of the swimming area, equipment, and facilities to identify and address any safety hazards or maintenance issues.

We serve orthopedic patients(hips/knees), general surgery, geriatric and general med/surg patients. We are a 30 bed med/surg unit.
We staff our patient 1:5 with Registered Nurses and 1:10 with PCTs during the dayshift and PCTs increase to 1:15 during the night.
We have 100% private rooms with decentralized supplies on each wing. We staff a FT Charge Nurse without an assignment to assist staff with care.
