POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking an energetic, highly organized, dynamic professional to join our LCC team. The Behavioral Health Case manager will support within the Behavioral Health Pathways grant in the development, provision, and promotion of all Mental Health micro credentialling and applied degrees as well as support mental health services at Lamar Community College. The Manager will serve as the organizational resource manager for the Pathways Behavioral Grant for the Mental Health Faculty and Clinical positions at Lamar Community College, to ensure the mission, vision, and treatment philosophy are consistently implemented in all support service programs. The Manager will also manage communications between LCC and workforce stakeholders daily while displaying strong business acumen and empathy for students.
As an employee of the Colorado Community College System, this position is required to uphold and enforce the policies of LCC and CCCS, and all local, state and federal laws. This position will comply with all student privacy laws (FERPA); and is a mandatory reporter of any suspected illegal activity.
Examples of Duties
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and advocate knowledge of the Behavioral Health Micro-credentials along with the Associates of Applied Science in Mental Health/Addiction degree to share with prospective students and to connect with community stakeholders within the LCC regional area.
Coordinate communications between mental health faculty and community stakeholders in consultation and conjunction with workforce development, concurrent enrollment, and other recruitment efforts
Facilitate logistical planning for mental health activities to nominally include meetings with workforce development stakeholders.
Oversee application of grant funding for various academic endeavors to include classes, workshops, training events, and seminars as allocated in the SB22-181.
Prioritize outreach and recruitment activities in conjunction with colleagues with nontraditional community stake holders (assisted living, probation/parole, court system, education, first responders, social services) to emphasize new behavioral health stackable micro- credentialling to current and prospective employees.
Coordinate reporting and other documentation required by SB22-181 for timely submission to CCCS office.
Collaborate with on-campus service providers, educating and training the TSC community about health promotion and well-being, including serving as the primary contact for orienting new students to offerings related to mental health and well-being, as well as academic, financial, accessibility, security, and career related services.
Adhere to HIPAA and FERPA guidelines.
With supervisory support, develop, coordinate, facilitate, and assess educational workshops and presentations for students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
Coordinate college-wide programs campaigns and initiatives in partnership with colleagues, community partners, and the State of Colorado, such as well-being fairs, the National Collegiate Health Assessment, CDHE's Healthy Minds and Hunger Free Campus designations, Spark the Change Mental Wellness Program, and others.
Develop with Mental Health Faculty and Clinician to coordinate workshops or panel discussions on a variety of topics including mental health, self-care and developing coping, and resilience skills.
Provide programming which emphasizes open-minded ideals and does not discriminate based on individual lifestyle choice around sexual and romantic relationship structure, contraceptive device use, or identity components and the identity exploration process; demonstrate a commitment to respecting and honoring diverse ideas, backgrounds, lifestyles, identities, and choices.
Increase resource awareness, activity participation, and event attendance through in-person and electronic outreach; design and appropriately disseminate promotional materials (printed and electronic) in accordance with LCC posting requirements and in coordination with supervisor direction.
Assist in the development, implementation, and analysis of periodic, de-identified student wellness surveys which: 1. Provide baseline and follow-up wellness data. 2. Identify program needs and priorities. 3. Collect information on the effectiveness of programs and services. 4. Track trends in student wellness status and behavior.
Maintain record keeping, documents, reports, and routine correspondences in a timely manner with a rigorous commitment to discretion and confidentiality.
Register with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA); abide by regulations and maintain registration status as required by respective fields, if applicable.
Prioritize professional development in respective fields by working toward educational and relevant training advancements: Bachelor of arts/science in related field, Certified Addiction Technician/Specialist certification, Mental Health First Aid Adult Instructor training, among others.
Engage in, and collaborate with, campus-wide committees devoted to student wellness. • Build relationships with community partners, parents, guidance counselors/advisors, and other external constituents.
Promote and adhere to the Mission & Vision of the College.
Maintain and develop relationships with faculty and staff of the College.
Represent the College at internal and external functions as needed.

Required Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have an associate degree in psychology, social work, education, or related field from an accredited college or university.
Valid Driver License.
