Upon completion of the NTN exam, all scores are automatically forwarded to DOC. You must have a passing score of 70 percent in all areas of the exam in order to move to the next step of the hiring process.
Step 3
DOC will review and process your application.
* A criminal history check will be completed from information gathered though various sources including, but not limited to: Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS), National Crime Information Center (NCIC), Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), or other regional and national computer databases.
Step 4
Before you are scheduled for an interview you will be required to complete an electronic Statement of Personal History (eSOPH.) You will receive an email giving specific instructions on how to complete this step and you will have 14 days to complete it. The personal history questionnaire consists of 12 topics. You will provide information for each topic for the past ten years or since the age of 18. Topics include:

You will not move forward to the interview until you successfully complete eSOPH and it passes review by one of our background investigators. eSOPH requires you to submit names, phone numbers, and email addresses of personal and professional references. If you are unable or unwilling to provide this information you should not continue with this application. If you do want to proceed you are accepting the responsibility of gathering and providing the required information for eSOPH.
Step 5
DOC will contact you to complete the background investigation from the information you provided in the eSOPH documents.
Step 6
If selected, there will be a conditional offer and you will be required to pass a pre-employment medical exam and psychological evaluation in accordance with DPSST's requirements.
Requirements for Employment
The successful candidate for this position must pass a Criminal Justice Information Systems (CJIS) fingerprint-based background check and maintain CJIS eligibility. Due to CJIS requirements related to system access, there may be some felony convictions that could disqualify you for this position. Applicants will be subject to a Computerized Criminal History and Motor Vehicles check as well as background investigation. Adverse background information may be grounds for disqualification. GENERAL SUMMARY:

Warner Creek Correctional Facility is actively seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill their Institution Security Manager (Correctional Institution Manger 1) vacancy. Warner Creek Correctional Facility (WCCF) is a 406-bed minimum-security facility located in Lakeview, Oregon. AICs work on the institution site and on outside crews. Programs and services include host agency crews, contact crews, fire crews, education, transition programs, work assignments, and religious services.
This position is management services and may be eligible for Police & Fire (P&F) benefits through Public Employees Retirement System (PERS), as defined by statute.
Minimum Qualifications
Five years of lead work, supervision, or progressively related experience.

Working Conditions
This position is located inside an adult male correctional facility and will include continuous contact and exposure to hostile and/or potentially violent behavior of adults in custody. Responsible for taking immediate corrective action when dealing one-to-one with AICs daily. Prolonged use of computer terminals. After hour availability in the event of emergencies: on-call 24-hours per day, 7-days per week.

Position Summary:
The Entry Level Laborer is an entry level position introducing the employee to the basic components of a saw and planing mill.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Comply with safety standards at all times and correct/report any observed safety hazards.
Sweep and shovel including debris, wood pieces, broken boards, and sawdust.
Lift, flip, pull, and push lumber.
Operate a full wheelbarrow to clean and haul waste materials and use air to blow the floor and equipment.
Maintain waste systems (hog/chipper/conveyors) by identifying clogs and clearing clogged waste.
Use hand and power tools such as a circular saw and/or chainsaw to break up materials for removal.
Begin to learn basic operator roles and responsibilities.
Perform additional duties as required by supervisor.
On-site attendance is essential to effectively perform the listed duties and responsibilities.
Position Requirements:
Must meet position requirements to be considered a candidate for this position.
Must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
Knowledge and ability to operate hand and power tools preferred.
Ability to follow all company, state and federal safety rules when performing required job duties.
Ability to pass a pre-employment criminal history check and a pre-employment drug screening.
Environmental Conditions:
May be exposed to dust, noise, trip hazards, and variable temperature and weather conditions.
Required Personal Protective Equipment:
Individuals must be willing to wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. Positions may require additional PPE at specific times. Examples of PPE which may be required include high visibility garments, hand protection, eye protection, hearing protection, a hard hat, foot protection, and a face shield.
