    JOB TITLE: TRIO Peer Mentor DEPARTMENT AND LOCATION OF JOB: TRIO, Student Support Center, Learning Resource Center 106, FVCC Kalispell Campus ELIGIBILITY: LENGTH OF EMPLOYMENT: Academic Calendar Year 2024/2025 PAY RANGE: $13.00 to $14.00 per hour depending on experience NUMBER OF POSITIONS HIRING: Up to 4 WORK SCHEDULE: Flexible schedule between Monday and Friday during FVCC operating hours. This position may work 4 to 10 hours per week. DRESS CODE: Casual wear with appropriate coverage POSITION PURPOSE/ROLE: Supports, encourages, and helps other students make the most out of their academic careers. Provides information and assistance with study skills and time management, in addition to directing students to TRIO services and campus resources. Assists with planning and participating in community building events. Conducts outreach to encourage student connection to academic supports and TRIO/campus events. Represents and promotes the TRIO program at FVCC. Participates in training prior to the start of Fall Semester in August. Attends weekly group meetings/trainings during the academic year.
