About this Role
FiberTel is looking to hire outstanding Travel Telecom Construction Laborers. THIS IS AN ENTRY LEVEL POSITION. In this role you will support all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects. Duties will include general labor duties related to telecommunications construction as directed by the Foreman/Supervisor.
This is a travel position where we travel as a group from Hillsboro, OR. Daily per diem is included. Travel locations will be in the PNW market.
Services may include placing poles, anchors and guys, aerial strand and cable, direct buried pipe, trenching cable, conventional and directional boring, placing underground conduit systems, performing inside wiring, cabling, and testing and maintenance services.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
All phases of telecommunication construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment.
Hand dig using shovel, mechanical tools.
Install and maintenance of underground telecommunications cabling.
Operate or work around heavy equipment and machinery.
Working in congested or remote areas.
Maintain visual and audible contact with other crewman and all moving or stationary persons/vehicles/objects to ensure safe coordination of movement.

This position may occasionally be exposed to natural gas and to the risk of electrical shock. Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels.
Physical Requirements:

About: Labcorp is a leading provider of biometric testing services, population health and comprehensive workforce wellness strategies. These services are performed by a network of Labcorp personnel located throughout the country. Labcorp is seeking medical professionals to provide testing services at events in multiple Oregon locations. Once hired, our staff have the ability to assign themselves to events in their area by utilizing our scheduling system. In addition, we provide pre-event comprehensive training on LES protocols.
Testing services include biometric screenings, COVID-19 PCR testing, COVID-19 point of care antigen testing, and temperature checks. Our staff are responsible for the successful setup, execution, and breakdown of events while providing exceptional customer service to participants.
Duties/Responsibilities:
* Perform venipuncture blood draws
* Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis
* Conduct participant biometric screenings which include blood pressure and body fat analysis
* Ensure participant information and all screening results are accurately captured.
* Provide excellent customer service and maintain participant privacy at all times
* Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
* Perform all other duties and tasks as assigned
Qualifications and Requirements:
* Medical credentials preferred (NPA, RN, LPN, etc.)
* Minimum of 1-year experience performing venipuncture blood draws
* Minimum of 100 successful blood draws in the last 6 months required
* Proficient taking blood pressure
* Knowledge of HIPPA and OSHA
* Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Basic tablet and computer skills
* Must have a reliable form of transportation
* Must be willing and able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
* Must be at least 18 or older
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.
