Giants Baseball & Softball Camps EMT/Nurse Intern Giants Baseball Camps is now hiring for an Assistant Site Director who will be the EMT/Nurse Intern for our summer youth camps in the Sacramento Area. Giants Summer Camps is looking for an Assistant Site Director in the Sacramento Area who is energetic, positive, and who loves to inspire our youth to make good choices and be accountable for their actions and decisions - all while having a great time! We provide the equipment, training, and curriculum. You provide the leadership that will help our campers have a wonderful learning experience and leave camp with a love of the game, new friends, better baseball/softball skills, and an appreciation for the importance of personal accountability. We have a number of different positions available for our baseball and softball camps - from Coach to Site Director - and we need a variety of coaching skill levels to enhance the experience for ages 4 through 13. Core Responsibilities: Ensure a safe camp environment for all staff, campers, and parents Administer first-aid properly as needed to campers and staff Manage medications for campers with life-threatening allergies and other medical needs (ex. EpiPens) and ensure that each camp coach is aware of their campers who require extra attention Communicate to parents and headquarters regarding injuries, illnesses, and incidents that occur at camp Maintain detailed health records of campers Work proactively with all camp staff to ensure that a preemptive approach is taken, in order to minimize injury and risk Work with coaches and other staff members to help resolve camper conflicts and to create a positive and friendly environment for everyone involved with the camp Assist with the production and organization of essential camp reports including attendance, employee timekeeping, and customer service-related records Qualifications for all coaching positions: Be prepared to make a 5 week commitment Monday-Friday for approximately eight hours per day Giants Baseball & Softball Camps run almost every week from July 7, 2025 to August 15, 2025 Be prepared to travel to each site with reliable transportation of your own Be able to pass a comprehensive background screening Camp Locations include: West Sacramento - Bryte Park Elk Grove - Johnson Park Recreation Rocklin - Johnson Springview Park Folsom - John Kemp Community Park Sacramento - William Land Park Our Interview Process: After your application is submitted, here is what you can expect next: Receive an invitation to complete a one-way interview Complete a 15 minute virtual interview with our MLB Camps Director Complete a 20 minute virtual interview with our Executive Director Final decision!
