Job Description
As a cardiac cath lab technologist, you'll assist with catheterization of the heart and other electrophysiology procedures. Working in an operating room, cardiac cath lab or similar healthcare facility, you'll prepare equipment, assist surgeons, monitor patient vitals, help maintain sterile conditions and more. You might care for patients undergoing angioplasty, stent implantation, ablation, fluoroscopy or other procedures.

Complies with company guidelines and procedures as well as government regulations relating to the safe handling of hazardous materials/cylinder gases including loading methods, loading for safety, availability of cylinders, and weight distribution.
Responsible for the continuous learning and knowledge of hazards of various gases.
Conducts a variety of Safety checks.
Ensures all cylinders are located in their respective areas and properly painted and labeled to meet safety requirements.

Supplemental Health Care is seeking Cath Lab Technologists in Silver Spring, Maryland for contract assignments at partnering hospitals. Cath Lab Technologist Contract Details:
$2,300 - $2,568 per week
12-week contract with possibility to extend
Hospital Setting
Weekly pay
Travel pay packages including housing and meals allowance are available
Cardiology Technicians will be required to:
Monitor patients' vital signs during tests
Work with various types of cardiac equipment
Assist in administration of catheterization
Management of supplies and devices

Requirements:
ARRT
American Heart Association BLS
Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience
Attention to detail and strong communication skills
