Favorite perk is the discount on everything. Parking and getting in for free.
Helping the guests. Watching the little children play and enjoy their time with us.
Cons are: not getting enough hours, not being paid for the work you do, supervision playing favorites with the associates. Management lying to your face.
I personally do not have an opinion of the CEO or the leadership team.
Start following the guidelines and rules of Knott's. Stop making the wrong people supervisors or team leads.
I really didn't have to prepare for the interview.
I think the position that I'm in could be paid more for the responsibility we have.
When hired they just put you in a department that needs bodies. No matter experience.
Seeing my extended family I have made since I started. Watching the little kids have a good time.
interacting with guests and being able to put a smile on their face; make their day.
favoritism on the part of supervisors and upper management. supervisors never give positive praise to good workers but quick to discipline any employee who is a threat to their position. Area department management turns a blind eye to incorrect/inappropriate actions of supervisors and dismissing complaints by lower level employees of their supervisors.

being a ride operator is so much fun & its a great environment to work in with great co workers
sometimes the guest can be really complicated or get very upset
Culture is negative. Supervisors bully and harass employees even regarding COVID. Unsafe environment. Micromanagement and impeding employees from being able to do their work. Degrading and demoralizing, phony. Honest hard-working employees are mistreated. Insecure power-seeking corrupt bosses just want their egos fed and just want people to play the game vs. honest hard work. The work culture is abusive and negative and kills morale and us really really bad...and no one cares.
Coworkers are fun and friendly
Pay is awful, HR department is awful. Supervisors and those on salary pay don't care about the workers who bring in the actual revenue and treat us like garbage.
