We are in search of a Kitchen Supervisor for our Golf Course Restaurant, the Manzanita Grille . We are operate 7 days a week from 7am and close at 3pm every day except for Friday we close at 7pm.
General Purpose: Assists in managing the culinary operation to include food preparation, ordering, staff development and would report directly to the Food and Beverage Director. Essential Duties:
Prepares food orders in a timely manner.
Develop Daily Food Specials.
Maintains and monitors budgeted food cost.
Maintains sanitation and assists in health department inspections.
Conducts monthly inventory and food and other supplies.
Monitors and receives all ordered food products and supplies, ensures proper storage.
Assists in the interviewing and hiring of all kitchen staff.
Assists in the management of the kitchen staff not to include reviews and staff performance.
Assist in monitoring business volume forecast and plan accordingly in areas of manpower, productivity and other expenses.
Incorporates safe work practice in job performance.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.
Education/Experience:
High School Diploma or GED and 6+ Months related experience and/or training.
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands, walks, uses hands, reaches with hands and arms.
Regularly talks and hears. Occasionally sits, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, tastes and smell.
Frequently lifts up to 25 lbs. and regularly lifts 50 lbs.
