Field Surveying also includes all efforts to define property boundaries. This task includes in-office researching and interpreting existing surveys followed by field measuring of physical evidence to assist Licensed Surveyors in boundary determinations. This process would include working with existing surveys, construction plans, survey notes, coordinate systems, horizontal and vertical control points, bridge working points and more. They would be exposed to Survey grade GPS units, precision total stations and high-definition laser scanning.
