Summary Description: Responsible for the development of specific discipline (mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation, civil or structural) design packages for the installation of complex industrial projects. Requires heavy interaction with client and engineering discipline counterpart. Responsible for oversight of discipline design project team. Normally assigned to middle to large size projects. Duties: Planning and Scheduling - defining a scope of the project drafting requirements, estimating drafting man hours and requirements. Assigning work to drafting personnel. Layout drawings from engineers' sketches and verbal instructions. Presenting this work to drafting personnel in a form suitable for drafting by the available personnel. Perform complete over-haul and testing of all manufacturers' pressure relief valves to include: Farris, Consolidated, Crosby, Anderson-Greenwood and others. Execute trouble-shooting and testing in shop and field environments. Directly reports to the Operations Manager. The Assistant Electrical HTT Technician assists in performing Heat treatment for the use of heating or chilling, normally to extreme temperatures, to achieve a desired result such as hardening or softening of a material. This position assists with heat treatment jobs on a variety of components in the refining, petrochemical, power and construction industries. Also assists with various heat treatment jobs ranging from small to medium size electrical projects and may include other Heat Treat Methods. This position provides assistance to senior technicians in the performance of Heat Treat Services to a diverse client base. The Technician Apprentice is responsible for supporting various areas of activity engaged in by field personnel onsite at client locations. The general duties and major areas of responsibilities of the Field Machining technicians can be broken down into the following stages. o Review of client job scope. o Compliance with all safety procedures and job documentation. o Accountability of job equipment and tooling prior to arriving job site. o Achieve or exceed client quality expectations. o Accomplish or exceed client production expectations. The Field Machinist is responsible for the set up and operation of a wide variety of portable machine tools to perform on-site machine work and repairs on location at client work sites. Primary role is to execute field machining operations in accordance with the approved site and company procedures. The technician is directly responsible for the execution of services in accordance with the requirements of the site and TEAM process and procedures. The technician undertakes the training and development to continuously improve their skills and levels of competence and knowledge. Trained and competent technicians will be required to lead technicians of a lesser on job sites. Job Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
