Ability to develop a complete material submittal that meets industry standards. Ability to correctly complete project paperwork, such as: test papers, insurance permits, punch list. Ability to identify what is in contract vs. what is not in contract and alert appropriate personnel in writing. Ability to troubleshoot and identify potential problems before they manifest. Responsible for ordering all materials necessary to complete a project. Communicate in face-to-face meetings with customers in a way that provides the company and the customer with accurate, thorough information about a job, and that leaves the customer with a positive impression of our company and our service. Must have complete knowledge of all applicable fire codes, including NFPA 13. Work with cross-functional teams (APD, Design, Category Management, Purchasing, Sales, Marketing, Implementation, Operations, Domestic and Overseas Vendors), to meet or exceed project goals. Participate in new product planning, brainstorming and market research to evaluate the potential opportunities for innovative new products, materials, or processes. Investigate, analyze, and report on styling, materials, and processing trends. Utilize key findings when preparing design concepts.
