Basic Qualifications :
To be successful in this role, you will need:
Ability to perform maintenance on food preparation and holding appliances/equipment. Understanding of and ability to operate under Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines and other food safety/sanitary guidelines. Must also be able to troubleshoot and repair gas and steam systems applied in commercial kitchen equipment.

Stamina and the physical ability to undertake the job. You might bicycle, bend, kneel, climb, push vehicles to re-position them for repair, work with arms/hands above shoulder level for an extended period of time, climb (sometimes as high as 200 ft.) and more, all on a regular basis
At least 18 years of age
You will be required to use 2-way radios, learn CMMS (MAXIMO work order system), attend/pass compliance and other training sessions to ensure accurate maintenance documentation
Electricians may work outdoors in all weather conditions, in an industrial workshop, in kitchens with wet/slippery surfaces, and may have occasional exposure to high temperatures, noise levels, and fumes
In addition to the physical tasks listed above, Electronic Technicians may need to push/pull and/or lift up to 10 lbs. constantly, up to 25 lbs. frequently, up to 75 lbs. occasionally and rarely up to/over 100 lbs.
Schedule Availability - Must be open to any shift (1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift) including weekends, holidays, with any combination of days off.
Additional Information :
Those assigned to the Electrician position are required to attend an annual Hearing Conservation training class and Lead Awareness class. They are also required to submit to an annual audiometric exam and a semi-annual Lead/Zinc blood test.

We are looking for a licensed Industrial Electrician to lead a crew while performing a wide range of skilled electrical work, associated with the operation, maintenance, and construction of compressor station and storage field systems and to provide work direction and on‐the‐job training at our Aliso Canyon Facility.
Position Objective
Successful candidate will be responsible for following established safety procedures and Company guidelines to perform a wide range of skilled electrical work associated with the Transmission & Storage Department.
Job Duties
Provides work direction and monitors work of lower level Electricians in the work unit. Performs a wide range of skilled electrical work and other specialized electrical work independently, or as a member of a crew, that is associated with the operation, maintenance, and construction of an industrial compressor station and storage field systems. Coordinates the logistics for projects, communicates with other electrical tradesmen, engineers, and customer(s) to plan and execute the work.
Performs in a lead capacity in the electrical section. Provides work direction, guidance and schedules work within the group to optimize the available work force in meeting deadlines. Trains other employees. Performs duties of lower classifications within the job progression. Inspects work of lower level employees and contractors to ensure that established quality standards and applicable electrical & utility codes & standards are met. Provides written estimates for time and material costs and assists in the development of project scopes. Prepares material lists and orders materials. Reviews invoices, contracts and time sheets for accuracy. Reviews wiring methods and circuit designs and makes suggestions for corrections. Creates and redlines as-builts.
Interacts with job requesters and/or Engineering regarding project changes, costs, quality standards, specifications and completion dates.

Minimum Qualifications

SUMMARY OF DUTIES:
Installation, Maintenance, and Repair of electrical equipment and wiring. Assets to maintain include Substations, Feeders, Circuit Breakers, Lighting, Outlets, Wire, Signs, etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Must pass examinations in initial RWP and AMT-2 Classes.
* Must demonstrate knowledge of maintenance of electrical assets.

* Drive CDL vehicles for the department in various locations.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Must have a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
* Must read, write, and speak the English language clearly.
* Basic electrical theory, knowledge coupled with the desire and ability to learn.
* Must have a current valid driver's license at hiring or transfer and must have valid Class B Commercial Driver's License. Both licenses' must be maintained throughout employment.
* Valid Journeyman's Electrical License required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience as an electrician or lineman with knowledge of tools, rigging, electricity and safety procedures.

Overview of Position

Technical theatre education will be the closest thing, but so would any education in audio, lighting, electronics, rigging, welding, carpentry, design, 3D modeling software. It's a myriad of technical skills that makes this a helpful education.
