This position is responsible for delivering all aspects of the HR function to an assigned store location. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for the full-cycle recruitment efforts of the store. This includes creation of job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, extending offers, and performing new hire orientation.
* Responsible for creating a talent pipeline by regularly searching for "A" level talent for future needs of the store.
* Partners with leaders on employee relations and performance management situations and consults with the Support Office Employee Relations team on escalated workplace issues and investigations.
* Builds relationships with associates and fosters a sense of belonging through active inclusion of individual talents, perspectives, experiences, and capabilities.
* Works side by side with the leadership team to build relationships, drive engagement, drive loyalty and retention, and develop a best in class work environment.

* Leads weekly payroll processing including daily timecard edits, creating new associate profiles and ensuring time cards are accurate on a weekly basis before the close of payroll. Additionally, this position is responsible for maintaining compliant payroll records on-site.
* Promotes awareness of associate's rights and actively manages leave management options for eligible store associates by partnering with third party vendors on FMLA, STD, ADA, and Worker's Compensation administration.
* Performs accommodation reviews by engaging associates and leadership to ensure business needs are met.
* Responsible for rolling out programs and providing training to support our associates and leadership team.
* Leverages associate data such as turnover, exit interviews, and HR Scorecard metrics to guide decision-making and offer solutions to improve results.

QUALIFICATIONS

Order Fulfillment: Receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and special requests with attention to detail and quality.
Customer Service: Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly using the boomerang principle to ensure a positive experience.
Quality Control: Inspect, rotate, maintain proper temperatures, and replenish all deli products on display to ensure high standards.
Inventory Management: Maintain proper inventory levels in the deli storage, including containers, lids, spoons, tags, and more.
Food Safety: Lead by example in maintaining food safety logs and adhering to all safety standards.
Efficiency: Ensure all quality standards, including quantity expectations, are met by 10 am and 5 pm daily.
Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
Support the Team: Other duties as assigned

What You'll Do:
As a Guest Services Assistant Department Manager at Festival Foods, your responsibilities will include:

Manage Daily Operations: Oversee guest services activities, ensuring a positive guest experience and a smooth team environment. Delegate tasks and manage team priorities to maximize productivity in a retail grocery store environment.
Optimize Schedules: Use labor tools to create schedules that balance guest needs and labor budgets. Adjust staffing levels based on guest traffic and item counts throughout the day.
Quality Standards: Ensure all quality standards are being met, including quantity expectations at 100% by 10 am and 5 pm.
