Servers at Six Flags Great Adventure will ensure the successful and profitable operation of the assigned restaurant location, provide guests with superior service, and deliver quality food items to our guests. Skills And Qualifications: Must be willing to work 40-60 hours per week, including before and after scheduled shifts if necessary and on weekends and holidays. Physical ability to stand or walk for long periods of time. Must be professional, outgoing, energetic, self-motivated, able to motivate others, and have a positive attitude. Excellent time management skills along with the ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks. Perfect grooming and conduct must be constantly displayed. Previous serving experience preferred. Must be willing to change locations when requested by Fulltime Staff. The Food & Beverage Server is responsible for meeting the needs of members and guests in a prompt and professional manner upon arrival and throughout their dining experience at the Club. Job Tasks and Duties: Seat guests, present menus, and make food and beverage recommendations Take food and beverage orders from members and guests and answer related questions Greet and continually check-in to ensure member and guest satisfaction Place all orders into the Point of Sale system accurately Perform light cleaning duties such as trash removal in the kitchen and dining room area Clear and reset tables and chairs in a timely manner Assist with restocking and replenishment of inventory and supplies when needed Participate in training sessions, as required Assist Clubhouse Manager and Assistant Clubhouse Manager with other duties, as requested Requirements: Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance at all times Availability to work weekdays and weekends Ability to multi-task while taking care of guests needs and maintaining composure Strong interpersonal skills and service-oriented mindset Education and Experience: At least 1 year of restaurant experience preferred, but not required Physical Demands and Work Environment: Walking and standing for extended periods of time Lifting, carrying and pushing/pulling equipment and supplies weighing up to 30lbs. Summary/Objective The Banquet Server is responsible for performing food and drink serving duties at special events while interacting with guests in a positive, friendly, and efficient manner. Have complete knowledge of ICONA's banquet menus and food preparation. Serve plated dinners to guests, carrying plates on food trays. Keep water glasses filled; remove each round of plates and replenish utensils. Maintain communication with banquet supervisor as well as other servers and event organizers. If consuming alcoholic beverages, observe guest's behavior, count number of drinks served, and if the server feels they should not drive, offer a taxi. Do not hesitate to ask a manager to intervene. Responsibilities Assists with the overall supervision of banquet operations. Assists with the selection, training and supervision of banquet and convention services staff. Supervises housemen including performance, daily worksheets and hours worked. Assists with daily and weekly payroll reviews and ensures proper scheduling of Banquet staff. Maximizes labor efficiency. Coordinates pre-function briefing to ensure scheduled events are successfully presented. Ensures that banquet checks and related administrative event documents are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Monitors inventory and storerooms and coordinates operating equipment allocation and par stock maintenance. Under the direction of the Banquet Manager, the incumbent serves the guests in accordance with the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino standards. Responsibilities * Sets up banquet meal functions as prescribed by the Banquet Function sheet. * Provides prompt and professional service during banquet meal functions. * Performs tableside or buffet food preparation and service as required. * Ensures that banquet workstation is clean and stocked with all items needed for the banquet function. Maintains a clean and orderly workstation at all times. * Informs supervisor of any problems and/or guest complaints. * Assists other banquet associates when needed. * Cleans off all glasses, silver, china, etc. from all dinner tables, reception tables, and buffet tables during and after the function and other related duties required for proper table service traditionally handled by banquet service staff. * Completes all banquet server-side work. * Greets guests as needed and continually monitors guests to ensure that their needs are met. * Must wear appropriate uniform and maintain personal cleanliness. * If appropriate, serves all alcoholic beverages knowledgeably and in strict compliance with all applicable alcoholic beverage laws. * Performs other duties as assigned by management.
