Under the direction of the maintenance supervisor, the janitor is responsible for general cleaning and minor maintenance duties in maintaining multifamily housing complex, adjacent walks and grounds, and equipment in clean, orderly, and functional condition. Provides assistance to residents, visitors, and other employees as necessary. Receives oral or written orders from maintenance supervisor. Performs work according to standard procedure and by buildings operational schedule. Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, stairways, and windows.
