Role & Responsibilities:
We are seeking a Clean Room Technician for an exciting space exploration company which would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing and chemical handling to further their career with a great company.
· Clean and passivate hardware using means such as chemical, mechanical, ultrasonic, and precision cleaning methods
· Handle hardware using overhead cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment
· Titrate and use other direct measurement methods to analyze and correct CPV lab solvent/chemical systems
· Inspect hardware using various methods
· Perform maintenance and calibration of equipment such as pumps, tanks, filtration systems, scales, etc
Essential Qualifications:
· 1+ years of experience in manufacturing/laboratory settings working with chemicals or
having had experience in cross contamination environments
· Strong attention to detail
· Comfortable wearing PPE
· Computer proficiency
Bonus Qualifications:
· Aerospace experience
· Forklift or crane experience
· Experience using tools like micrometers, calipers, and torque wrenches

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Service, cleaning, and supply restrooms.
Gather and empty trash inside and outside of the facility.
Clean building floors by sweeping mopping, scrubbing, waxing, polishing, or vacuuming.
Sometimes using ladders, dusts and washes walls, cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
6 months janitorial experience is preferred.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Keep building and premises, including sidewalks, driveways, and play areas, neat and clean at all times.
2. Shovel, plow, and/or sand walks and steps as appropriate.
3. Check daily to ensure that all exit doors are unlocked and all panic bars are working properly during the hours of building occupancy.
4. Raise the United States and Kansas flag at or before 8:00am on each school day, and lower it at or after 3:30pm.
5. Clean classrooms daily and dust furniture and woodwork.
6. Clean corridors after school each day, and/or during the day when their condition requires it.
7. Scrub, hose down, and disinfect toilet floors daily and clean all sanitary fixtures and drinking fountains daily.
8. Wash all windows on both the inside and outside at least twice each year and more frequently if necessary.
9. Keep the grounds free from rubbish.
10. Perform such yard keeping chores as grass cutting, tree trimming, etc. to maintain the school grounds in a safe and attractive condition.
11. Keep all floors in a clean and attractive condition and in a good state of preservation.
12. Clean all whiteboards at least once a week.
14. Make minor building repairs.
15. Report major repair needs correctly and in an accurate and timely manner.
16. Maintain, on a regular schedule, all motors and other mechanical equipment requiring scheduled servicing.
17. Report any damage and/or vandalism to school property immediately to the principal.

Tessera is seeking a helpful and reliable Janitor with a positive attitude.
Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Restroom Cleaning - sanitize and clean all toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls & doors. Restock supplies. Collect trash and replace liners. Sweep and mop floor. Follow cross-contamination procedures.
Office Cleaning - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule. Spot entry doors.
Clean halls and high traffic areas - sweep, mop, vacuum, buff, and clean carpet according to schedule.
Clean entrances and exits - sweep, mop, vacuum according to schedule.
Trash - empty trash in; lunchrooms, coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker daily. Office areas trash according to schedule.
Restock supplies - restock supplies daily.
Dusting - dusting in lunch/coffee areas, restrooms, shower/locker areas, and dust free areas only.
Clean stairwells - sweep, mop, vacuum, wipe handrails according to schedule.
Clean showers - clean all shower stalls, damp wipe for dust, restock supplies, mop floors following cross contamination procedures.
Maintain Janitor Closets - clean and organize. Clean and rinse all equipment before storing.
Clean ice machines.
Change light bulbs and clean lamp receptacles.
Change privacy and shower curtains.
Wet/Dry mopping - wet/dry mop each floor according to schedule.
Sweeping - sweep each area according to schedule.
Qualifications:
6 months janitorial experience preferred.
Must be able to work in a team and independently.
Physical Requirements:
Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 45 pounds.
May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance.
Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
