Duties and Responsibilities
Using the hotels set expectations and processes, follow directions thoroughly to monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of guest rooms and other areas.
Ability to remove and replace dirty linens and terry, change and make beds, clean bathroom and vanity areas, vacuum, and dust.
Smiles and greets guests, maintains positive guest relations and appropriately handles guest requests.
Restock and transport cart with cleaning supplies, linens, terry, and amenities to assigned guest rooms and position securely.
Use correct cleaning chemicals for designated surfaces/areas according to OSHA regulations.
Communicate with front desk staff about room information, maintenance cards, lost and found items, and any discrepancies between stayovers and checkouts.

Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
Ability to exert physical effort in operating cleaning equipment and transporting housekeeping carts (up to 50lbs) as well as endure various physical movements throughout the work areas during shift.
Comply with all OSHA standards.
Provide special services for guests upon request.
Set heating/cooling equipment in the proper setting.

CFCU Community Credit Union (CFCU) is seeking a reliable full-time Commercial Cleaner to help maintain positive building aesthetics for the Credit Union. This individual will ensure locations are cleanly and properly disinfected with member and employee's health as a main concern. This role is a second shift opportunity, and the hours are 5:00 pm - 1:30 am with partial weekends.
Requirements
& Responsibilities:
Utilize an established cleaning checklist to perform all tasks to the Credit Union's established standards. Tasks include, but are not limited to:
o Dust furniture, equipment, partitions, walls, etc.
o Clean glass windows and entrance doors of each facility.
o Clean and disinfect sinks, countertops, floors, toilet, mirrors, tables, chairs, refrigerators, microwaves, drinking fountain, etc. in restrooms, break rooms and/or kitchenettes.
o Replenish supplies in restrooms, break rooms and kitchens.
o Sweep, mop, vacuum and scrub all facility floors.
o Empty trash cans and recyclables into disposal areas.
o Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle after each use.
o Participate in special project assignments as required, such as carpet cleaning and outside window washing.
Comply with all safety and security policies and procedures. Identify safety, security, or maintenance issues/concerns and communicate them to the Facilities Supervisor or AVP of Business Resiliency in a timely manner.
Maintain a valid NYS driver's license.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Commercial cleaning experience required.
High school degree or equivalent.
Self-motivation, good interpersonal and time management skills.
Knowledgeable about commercial cleaning procedures and protocols.
Physical demands include walking, standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, pushing and/or pulling objects for cleaning duties. Demands may also include carrying a 20-pound vacuum.

PRIMARY PURPOSE:
This position is accountable for the cleanliness of the center common area, which included but is not limited to, the parking lot, common sidewalks, and service bays. This position is also responsible for emptying of trash receptacles, tenant dumpsters, and operating a trash compactor.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Routinely inspects and patrols the interior and exterior of the facility performing interior and exterior custodial duties including sweeping sidewalks/floors, wet mop sidewalks/floors, operate steam cleaner, operate hand vacuum, c lean and restock restrooms, gather trash and empty trash receptacles; operate compactor and turn trash carts
Operate a variety of janitorial related equipment to maintain cleanliness of property.
Operate high-reach or lift equipment to perform debris removal and cleaning of elevated surfaces
Assist other departments, including but no limited to, Marketing to c lean and patrol during events
Establish procedures to insure completion of scheduled cleaning of different areas of the facility
Maintain a professional, cooperative working relationship with management and all co-workers
Perform the job in accordance with all applicable standards, policies and regulatory guidelines (i.e. OSHA standards) to promote a safe working environment
Ensure the appropriate inventory systems, records, files, material safety data sheets, cleaning supplies, equipment and tools are maintained
Notes damaged or missing property, missing trash containers, and other problems and notifies supervisor
May perform additional duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Technical School certifications and/or training preferred
Ability to read and interpret documents and comprehend instructions. Ability to effectively present information to departmental management, employees, tenants, and outside contacts
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form
Ability to define problems, collect information, and establish facts
Self-starter with ability to work independently and multi-task
Knowledge of safety rules, hazards, and application of accident prevention measures
