This position is to provide students and employees with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which to work, learn, play, and develop. Essential Functions: Keep all floors in a clean and attractive condition and in a good state of preservation (includes regular refinishing procedures and vacuuming). CURRENT OPENING: *Full-time: 80 hours biweekly -SHIFT: 1st and/or 2nd shift -Includes rotating weekends & holidays The Floor Care Technician performs various floor care and custodial tasks including scrubbing/buffing floors, stripping and waxing, and extracting carpets. This position will be performed in accordance with TANDEM LIVING Core Values, Mission Statement, and regulations. QUALIFICATIONS: A valid PA driver's license with a minimum of two (2) years of driving experience required. Previous floor care experience preferred but not required. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Strips, waxes, and buffs tile floors in public areas using appropriate floor care equipment. Vacuums hallways and public areas. Performs daily spot checking and removes any spots/stains on carpets. Cleans carpets using carpet extractor and cleans various public areas. Moves furniture to clean floors or hard to reach areas as needed. Operates TANDEM LIVING company vehicle as needed.
